How to Set Up HomePlex IPTV on Android - Phone, Box & Fire TV Stick
What you need: IPTV Smarters app
IPTV Smarters on Android lets you watch Live TV, VOD, Series, Catch-up TV, and even four channels at the same time using the multi-screen feature. We recommend Method 1 Xtream Codes API because it unlocks Catch-up and loads your TV guide automatically.
Method 1 – Xtream Codes API (Recommended)
Step 1: Download IPTV Smarters from iptvsmarters.com/iptv-smarters-5.0.apk and install it on your Android device.
Step 2: Open the app, tap Add User, and select Login with Xtream Codes API.
Step 3: In the first box, enter any name you like (for example, HomePlex IPTV). In the second and third boxes, enter the Username and Password from your HomePlex account. Then enter the Server URL.
Step 4: Tap Add User and wait a few seconds for your channels to load.
Step 5: Tap the Live TV icon, select a channel group, then choose a channel. Double-tap the small screen to go full screen.
Step 6: To load your TV guide, tap Install EPG. No URL needed, it loads automatically.
Method 2 – M3U Playlist
Step 1: Open IPTV Smarters, tap Add User, and select Login with Playlist.
Step 2: Enter a name for your playlist (for example, HomePlex Playlist), choose M3U URL, and paste the M3U link from your HomePlex account.
Step 3: Tap Install EPG and add your EPG URL if required.
Step 4: Tap Live TV, select a channel group, and start watching.
How to Set Up HomePlex IPTV on Samsung Smart TV
What you need: IPTV Smarters Pro app
Step 1: Press the Source button on your Samsung remote.
Step 2: Go to Search and type IPTV Smarters Pro. Download and install the app.
Step 3: Open the app and log in using your HomePlex IPTV Username, Password, and Portal URL. These are sent to your email after purchase.
Important: Make sure your HomePlex DNS is registered for the best streaming performance. Note that Premium version features are not available on Samsung Smart TVs.
How to Set Up HomePlex IPTV on LG Smart TV
What you need: IPTV Smarters Pro app
Step 1: Press the Home button on your LG remote.
Step 2: Open the LG Content Store.
Step 3: Tap Search, type IPTV Smarters Pro, and install the app.
Step 4: Open the app and sign in with your HomePlex IPTV Username, Password, and Portal URL.
Important: Make sure your HomePlex DNS is registered for optimal performance. Premium version features are not available on LG Smart TVs.
How to Set Up HomePlex IPTV on iPhone, iPad & Apple TV
Step 1: Open the App Store and search for GSE Smart IPTV. Install it.
Step 2: Open the app and tap Add Playlist, then select Remote Playlist File.
Step 3: Enter the M3U Playlist URL provided by HomePlex IPTV. Give it a name, then set your preferred Channel Refresh and EPG Refresh schedule.
Step 4: Tap Save and wait for all channels to load. You’re ready to stream!
How to Set Up HomePlex IPTV on MAG Box
Step 1: Make sure your MAG box MAC address has been registered with HomePlex IPTV. Contact support if you’re unsure.
Step 2: Power on your MAG box. When the portal screen loads, press the Setup or Set button on your remote.
Step 3: Go to System Settings, then select Servers.
Step 4: Select Portals.
Step 5: In the Portal 1 Name field, type HomePlex. In the Portal 1 URL field, paste the portal address sent to you by HomePlex IPTV. Double-check every character carefully.
Step 6: Press OK to save. Press Exit twice and restart the portal. Your HomePlex channels are now ready.
How to Set Up HomePlex IPTV on Formuler Z8
Step 1: Download and install MyTVOnline 2 from your Formuler Z8 app store.
Step 2: Open the app. You have two options: add a Portal URL or an M3U playlist URL. Choose whichever you received from HomePlex IPTV. Set a nickname of your choice.
Step 3: Tap Connect and wait a few minutes. All channels linked to your HomePlex account will load automatically.
How to Set Up HomePlex IPTV on Enigma 2 (Linux Devices)
Step 1: On your Enigma 2 device, go to Settings, then Setup, then System Network, then Device Setup Adapter, then Settings. Note your IP address, it will start with 192.168.
Step 2: On your Windows PC, download and install PuTTY (a free SSH tool).
Step 3: Open PuTTY. Enter your device’s IP address and set Port to 23. Click Open.
Step 4: Log in with the default username and password: root.
Step 5: Paste the following command, replacing the link with your HomePlex M3U URL: wget -O /etc/enigma2/iptv.sh “YOUR M3U LINK” && chmod 777 /etc/enigma2/iptv.sh && /etc/enigma2/iptv.sh
Step 6: Right-click your mouse to paste and press Enter to run the command.
Step 7: Type reboot and press Enter. Your device will restart, and HomePlex IPTV will be ready.
